Ace describes the 24\/25 medium-length inner joint as compatible with 24\/40 full-length outer joints while allowing slightly more working room than a full-length inner joint. Useful for reaction setups, inert gas\/vacuum work, thermometer\/probe insertion, gas inlet\/bleed configurations, and general organic chemistry glassware assemblies.
