Adolf Meller Optics chromium-doped ruby / sapphire optical crystal rod marked 0.04% Cr, 90° orientation, 1/4" x 1-1/2". The rod is pink/red in appearance, consistent with low-percentage chromium-doped sapphire / ruby material. Suitable as a surplus laser, maser, spectroscopy, fluorescence, optical materials, or solid-state crystal research component. Markings indicate chromium concentration and orientation, but exact dopant uniformity, optical axis convention, end polish quality, coating status, transmission, fluorescence strength, and laser/maser performance are not certified.
