From Varian,

"The VacIon Plus 300 L/s pump provides high pumping speed in a moderate footprint and weight and is used in laboratories where ultrahigh and extreme high vacuum conditions are crucial.

This pump is available with three types of elements. Diode elements are for general-purpose UHV and XHV applications where the highest hydrogen pumping speed is critical and the system is seldom vented or prone to atmospheric leaks. StarCell elements handle a high amount of noble gases (better than noble diode) and hydrogen (comparable to the diode). StarCell also provides the highest speed and capacity for methane, argon, and helium. Noble diode elements are for general-purpose UHV and XHV where pumping of residual argon and other noble gases is required."

Agilent / Varian 9191611M2000 VacIon Plus 300 diode ion pump for high-vacuum, ultrahigh-vacuum, and extreme-high-vacuum systems. This 300 L/s ion pump uses a DN160CF / 8-inch CFF inlet flange with SHV high-voltage feedthrough and integrated 120V heaters, making it suitable for bakeable UHV systems, beamlines, surface science chambers, analytical instruments, semiconductor tools, and research vacuum platforms. The VacIon Plus 300 diode configuration is designed for clean, oil-free, vibration-free pumping with no moving parts, and Agilent specifies operation into the UHV/XHV regime with 300 L/s nitrogen pumping speed. A strong replacement or spare pump for labs maintaining Varian / Agilent ion-pumped systems or building large-format CF-flange vacuum assemblies.
