The Baseline MOCON Series 8900 is a multipurpose process gas chromatograph designed for continuous monitoring of single or multiple gas components in industrial, environmental, and specialty gas analysis applications. This microprocessor-based GC platform was built for unattended operation and could be configured with detector options including PID, FID, or TCD depending on the target compounds and method requirements. The 8900 series supports automatic calibration, analog and digital output options, event and alarm handling, and operation either as a standalone analyzer or with PC-based software for method setup and data collection. Typical uses include VOC and hydrocarbon monitoring, toxic gas and industrial hygiene analysis, contaminant detection in industrial gases, and other application-specific gas chromatography tasks where a compact, rugged continuous analyzer is needed.
