Biospherical Instruments QCR-2200 Surface PAR Reference Radiometer, serial number 20112. This specialized surface reference sensor is designed for above-water monitoring of incident photosynthetically active radiation, or PAR, across the 400 to 700 nm band. The QCR-2200 uses a flat cosine collector and analog voltage output for integration with CTD systems, oceanographic data acquisition platforms, and environmental monitoring setups requiring a surface PAR reference matched to underwater profiling sensors. Biospherical literature describes the QCR-2200 as a non-submersible, weather-resistant surface instrument with output directly proportional to incident cosine irradiance.
