Used see photos. A very high quality Diode-Pumped Solid State Laser used in MALDI TOF mass spectrometry. Originally came from a Bruker MBT biotyper machine, it is the ablating source that is fed through a UHV window into the spectrometer cell.
Powers on, warms up, and green light activates and it awaits a trigger (see 2nd photo). Comes with "remote interlock" connector.
We do not know the exact pinout to interact with the laser, nor do we have a manual. As with all lasers, it is dangerous and extreme caution should be exercised when interacting with it.
