Bruker Veeco di Nanoscope MMAFM-2 Contact/Tapping Mode AFM Base and Head Hardware
This hardware is in good used condition. Used, see photos. This system is in "used" condition. As such, there may be cosmetic imperfections, small scratches, dents and dings, and small system quirks.
It includes:
- MultiMode MMAFM-2 base with STM, AFM & LFM, and TM AFM mode selection switch. Includes the scanner support ring, displays look to be in great shape.
- Contact and tapping mode cantilever holder.
- Matching upper MMAFM-2 head with XY head translator, built-in laser, optics, and adjustment knobs.
- Small anti-vibration base
It does not include the control electronics or control computer, those will need to be supplied in order to make this system function. A few options for the electronics: 1) Bruker still sells electronics that are compatible with this system (Nanoscope 6 controller), but some of the circuit boards will need to be upgraded in the base of this unit, 2) An older, used controller could be supplied (such as a Nanoscope III or IV) and software would also need to be found to run it, or 3) Another manufacturer's electronics could be used to control this system (such as a CSI Galaxy controller). You will also need to supply a scanner of your choice for operation. Anything not shown in the photos is not included in purchase.
