This Burleigh / EXFO 8200 Inchworm controller is a dual-axis motor controller for compatible Burleigh INCHWORM piezoelectric micropositioning / micromanipulator systems, commonly used in electrophysiology, microelectrode positioning, probe placement, precision optical alignment, and other low-drift nanopositioning applications. The 8200/8600 controller platform supports multi-axis INCHWORM motor control with individual or simultaneous axis operation, front-panel operation, optional handset or joystick control, and remote RS-232 computer control. Designed for compatible IW-800 series INCHWORM motors, encoded stages, and related Burleigh / EXFO positioning hardware, this unit is useful for labs needing high-resolution, closed-loop piezo motion control across two independent axes.
