About this item, "The Capintec CRC-25/W is a professional radioisotope dose calibrator with integrated well counter, built for nuclear medicine, radiopharmacy, PET/SPECT dose preparation, radiation safety, and laboratory counting workflows where both high-activity assay and low-level counting are needed in one system. In chamber mode, it uses a high-pressure re-entrant ionization chamber with a 6.1 cm well diameter and 25.4 cm well depth, offering 0.001 MBq / 0.01 µCi resolution, electrometer accuracy better than ±2%, system precision better than ±0.1% of full scale, linearity within ±2%, and activity capability up to 37.5 GBq (1.01 Ci) for Co-60 or 206 GBq (5.58 Ci) for Co-57, with response times as fast as 4 seconds above 20 µCi. In well-counter mode, it uses a drilled-well NaI(Tl) scintillation detector with 60 kcps maximum count rate and fixed 6-channel MCA energy discrimination spanning 15 keV to over 800 keV. This combination makes the CRC-25/W especially useful for routine dose calibration, wipe and leak testing, quality assurance, and lab procedures such as Schilling, plasma volume, and RBC volume testing, giving labs a versatile all-in-one platform from a widely recognized Capintec product line."
