This is a high quality pulsed current source from Directed Energy. It is capable of outputting 10A max (5A continuous).
See photos for the how to satisfy the user interlock (the purple jumper wire). The output cable interlock is satisfied by a MEDER M13 A3/2 magnet interlock switch.
From the manufacturer:
"The PCX-7410 is a laser diode driver capable of generating DC and pulse current waveforms. The PCX-7410 incorporates two internal current sources that are summed to form the output current waveform. One current source can generate DC signals from 0 to 5A and the second can generate square wave pulsed signals from 0 to 10A. When summed together the PCX-7410 can generate a signal capable of a maximum 10A peak current with a offset from 0 to 5A DC. This unique current source design makes the PCX-7410 a great solution to address a broad scope of applications.
The PCX-7410 can be locally controlled from its front panel using the buttons and encoder wheel. If remote hosting is desired the PCX-7410 can be controlled using a modified SCPI protocol through its RS-232 or GPIB port. This language based command set makes remote controlling the PCX-7410 easy to learn and easy to operate."
