About this system, "This General Radio Type 900-LB Precision Slotted Line set is a high-quality vintage RF/microwave measurement system supplied in its original fitted wooden carrying case with a substantial assortment of matching GR900 accessories. Included are the 900-LB precision slotted coaxial line with movable probe carriage and calibrated scale, removable General Radio Type 900-DP Probe-Tuner, a GR 900-WO4 precision open-circuit termination, multiple brass-capped GR900 components marked 8, 11, 20, and 50, assorted coaxial adapters/connectors, and the additional accessories shown in the photos. Precision slotted lines such as the 900-LB were designed for microwave transmission-line measurements including standing-wave ratio (VSWR), reflection, impedance, wavelength, phase, and characterization of RF components and terminations. The GR900 system uses General Radio's precision coaxial connector architecture and was intended for laboratory-grade microwave measurements where low connector reflections and repeatable reference planes are important. This is an excellent vintage RF metrology set for microwave engineering, calibration laboratories, research, restoration, education, or collectors of classic General Radio / GenRad test equipment.
