Haglöf Vertex Laser VL400 field hypsometer/rangefinder for fast, accurate height, distance, and angle measurements. Popular with forestry, arborists, and survey crews for tree height checks, plot work, and general field ranging. This unit combines laser + ultrasonic + a built-in tilt sensor so you can work reflective targets at long range and still have a solid ultrasonic option with a transponder. This setup includes the T3 transponder.
Minimum range of 10 yards. Under that, it doesn't take measurements.

Used condition with normal field wear. We fully tested it in-house; it powers on, buttons/menu operate correctly, display is clear, tilt/angle reads correctly, and ranging functions work great. It’s ready to deploy straight into the field; see photos for the exact cosmetic condition.
