All solvents can be dispensed simultaneously using one main inert gas supply. Dual Stainless Steel Column:

Two pressure tested stainless steel columns per solvent, 400L processing capacity until spent. Columns are supplied fully conditioned, ready for use. Spent columns are replaced with new columns

Manifolds, Vacuum & Gas:

Internal vacuum and gas manifolds are built into the extruded aluminum frame of the system. Includes a vacuum indicator and gas regulators and pressure relief valves dedicated to each of the solvent flasks to prevent over pressurization of glassware.

Gas Supply:

Check Valve:

Each solvent has it's own in-line check valve to prevent back flow, thus eliminating cross contamination of solvents

Dispensing Line:

A Swagelok metering valve allows a controlled flow of solvent from a braided stainless steel flex line connected to a 24/40 joint. A glass solvent storage flask mounts to the joint for dispensing solvents using standard syringe techniques

In-line Particle Filter:

0.2 micron stainless steel particle filter to catch packing material particulates.

The SPS-400 is a purification system that has been designed to purify HPLC grade solvents and to remove moisture and oxygen. This procedure offers a safe alternative to distillation and vacuum transfer of organic solvents without the use of alkali metals, hybrid reagents, or a heat source. This system can also be applied to the purification of ethers, aromatics, alkanes, and halogenated solvents. In addition, this purification system has a 400 L purification capacity before column regeneration is necessary when used with HPLC grade solvents. It arrives preassembled, and it is configured to meet individual application requirements. It can also be mounted in a hood or on its own stand.
