Lighthouse Photonics Sprout D 10W Laser 532nm TEM00 2871 Hours 10 MHz CW DPSS S10109036
Used, in great shape. See photos. We tested it using our in-house power meter (uncalibrated, likely the Spout's output measurement is more accurate than what our meter shows).
Lighthouse Photonics Sprout-D-10W is a CW DPSS green laser designed for stable high-power 532 nm output (rated >10 W). Manufacturer specs indicate a TEM₀₀ beam with M² ~1.0–1.1; ~2.3 mm beam diameter (1/e²), low divergence (<0.5 mrad full-angle), strong linear polarization (>100:1, vertical), and excellent stability (power stability <±0.25% rms over 24 hr; low noise <0.1% rms from 10 Hz–10 MHz, with an ultra-low-noise “NET” option on some builds). This is a 2018 unit showing ~2,800 operating hours; we tested it in-house and it works great. Output is adjustable and we measured optical power at multiple setpoints to confirm consistent behavior across different power levels (see photos). Laser head uses water cooling and wants a controlled loop around 23°C ±1°C with ~200 W heat removal for the 10 W class; the power supply is air-cooled and runs on 100–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz (typ ~200 W, 300 W max spec). Form factor is true bench-top: compact head plus external PSU with touchscreen interface; 3 m disconnectable control cable. Includes the laser and PSU shown; buyer supplies appropriate cooling hardware/plumbing. Comes with laser, laser controller, interlock fitting, and front keyswitch key.
Sprout-D datasheet claims the pump diode package has a typical MTTF >50,000 hours, so at ~2800 hours, this system is barely broken in (~6% of that typical MTTF).
As always, read the manual and install the proper safety gear before testing or using: lasers can be dangerous and proper protection and shielding are important.
