ot of 3 Corning PYREX 32940-series high-form fritted Gooch crucibles for analytical filtration, precipitate collection, drying, and gravimetric lab work. These are 30 mL high-form borosilicate glass crucibles with 30 mm fritted discs; Corning identifies 32940-30C as coarse porosity, 40 to 60 µm, and 32940-30M as medium porosity, 10 to 15 µm. Corning describes this series as suited for analytical work where precipitates are dried to constant weight at 110°C, with higher-temperature furnace use possible if thermal shock is avoided. Good general-purpose lab glassware lot for chemistry, QA/QC, filtration, ash/solids work, and replacement crucibles for vacuum filtration setups.
