From the manufacturer, "The deep cooling unit TKF 22 is used in the histological laboratory for rapid freezing of paraffin blocks. Up to 180 paraffin blocks fit into the seamless, deep-drawn cooling tray that is made of easy to clean stainless steel. The powerful cooling unit ensures a maximum cooling temperature of -35 °C (depending on the ambient temperature) that is achieved in ca. 10 minutes."
