Testing Included:
-System powers on and communicates with the Nanosurf EasyScan 2 control software. The controller and STM head configures and probe status indicator lit green.
-The STM was tested by imaging multiple samples, including an HOPG sample and a blotted gold sample. Clear, recognizable STM images were successfully obtained. Image size, X/Y sample positioning, scanning speed, and image capture were tested.
-The included photos show actual images obtained during our testing, including the HOPG sample (photos 1 and 2) and blotted gold (photo 3).
