This Philips CDR785/17 is a multi-disc home audio CD changer with an integrated CD-R/CD-RW recorder, combining a 3-disc CD changer section with a dedicated recording deck for making audio CD compilations from CDs or external sources. It supports CD, CD-R, and CD-RW playback/recording functions, with useful features such as integrated dubbing, CD synchro recording, 99-track programming, random/repeat playback, CD Text/disc naming capability, and analog plus digital connectivity for use with stereo receivers and source components. Rear connections include analog stereo input/output, digital coaxial input/output, and digital optical input, making it a flexible deck for both playback and recording setups. This unit is used and in great cosmetic condition, and includes the remote control and original instructions/manual, making it a nice complete example for vintage stereo systems, CD archiving, mixtape-style CD compilation, or anyone looking for a standalone consumer audio CD recorder.
