Thermo Scientific Nicolet Antaris EX-IP Process Analyzer Industrial FT-NIR Spectrometer FTIR

System boots and takes measurements, but the interferometer "searches" and never sees the laser: likely either needs laser re-alignment or a new laser tube installed and then re-aligned. Everything else seems to work fine.

No optical loop included buyer will need to install their own configuration based on the processes they are doing.

About this system:

This Thermo Scientific Antaris EX-IP is a fully integrated industrial FT-NIR process analyzer housed in the stainless steel mobile process cabinet configuration with built-in industrial PC and Thermo software, intended for real-time near-infrared monitoring in demanding manufacturing environments rather than ordinary benchtop lab use. Thermo’s Antaris EX literature describes the platform as a hazardous-area-capable process analyzer with integrated computing, PLC-based analog and digital I/O, OPC and industrial network compatibility, and the ParaLux optical system for simultaneous multipoint monitoring with continuous internal referencing, making systems like this relevant for reaction monitoring, drying, granulation, raw-material verification, and other PAT-style process analytics. In its present condition, this unit should be considered a complete but non-operational or not-fully-operational analyzer: the interferometer continually searches and does not achieve a usable signal, which Thermo notes can occur when the instrument is unable to complete a collection scan or alignment because optical or mechanical conditions in the interferometer have drifted; Thermo specifically states that in such cases an alignment may restore scanning. With the integrated PC, software, and full stainless process cabinet still present, this is materially more valuable than a stripped parts unit and should appeal to buyers who service legacy Thermo process-NIR installations, need a donor platform, or are equipped to repair or realign an Antaris EX-series analyzer rather than needing a turnkey working system.

Due to the large size and weight of this system, it must be shipped via freight. Buyer is responsible for freight shipping charges to their facility.
