This Sacher Lasertechnik PilotPC 4000 is a benchtop laser diode controller with integrated laser diode temperature control, photodiode feedback, and PC/remote interface capability for precision laser, spectroscopy, optics, and photonics lab setups. The PilotPC series combines low-noise laser current control with high-stability TEC temperature regulation, and Sacher lists USB, GPIB/IEEE-488.2, and RS-232 remote control on the PilotPC platform. The PilotPC 4000 version supports a 0 to 4000 mA laser diode drive range with 1 mA setpoint resolution, photodiode feedback ranges, analog modulation input, current monitor output, interlock/safety features, and temperature control for external laser heads. Useful for tunable diode laser systems, ECDL setups, absorption/Raman spectroscopy, diode characterization, and optical lab R&D.
