TESTED Foss 60055167/60055259 XDS Rapid Content Analyzer Monochromator w/ PC
Used, see video for testing:
youtube.com/watch?v=UigCQ1ZQpZs
Testing Included:
System was powered on and tested with the connected PC and ISIscan/XDS software.
Then, the system underwent
- Wave linearization: passed
- Reference standardization: passed
- Instrument calibration test: passed
- Wavelength certification: passed
- Performance test: passed
(See photos #17-22)
After diagnostics, the system was used for basic absorbance comparison testing. Using the iris attachment, an empty beaker was measured first. Corn oil was then added to the beaker and measured again. The iris attachment was then swapped for the boat/sample cell filled with dry corn and measured. The empty beaker, corn oil, and dry corn each produced noticeably different absorbance spectra, showing the system responds differently to different sample conditions/materials. We do not have any products/preprogrammed samples in the system software for this instrument. If you need calibration files or pre-programmed products, you will need to either make or locate product files.
