Tested working ILX Lightwave LDX-3620 ultra-low-noise laser diode current source / laser diode driver with selectable 0-200 mA and 0-500 mA output ranges. Designed for precision photonics, optics, spectroscopy, telecom, and narrow-linewidth laser diode applications requiring very low current noise and high output stability. Features constant-current and constant-optical-power operation, photodiode feedback input, internal ramp generator, external modulation, high/low bandwidth selection, current limit protection, 4.5-digit display, battery-based low-noise operation, built-in battery charger, and low-battery shutdown. Manufacturer/manual specs list >5 V compliance on the 200 mA range, >4 V on the 500 mA range, and modulation bandwidth up to 1 MHz in high-bandwidth mode. Unit has been tested working; calibration status and long-term battery runtime are not guaranteed unless specifically stated.
