Testing included supplying power to the Leica SM2500 and successfully operating both the manual and programmed controls. The specimen height, cutting carriage movement, cutting speed, return speed, section thickness, and programmed cutting cycles were adjusted and operated successfully. The system completed a functional cutting test using a block of solid white polymer.
