Testing was conducted by first using a sample cuvette filled with water to Auto-Zero the Spectrophotometer for greater accuracy. Then a second cuvette sample of water with a violet dye was used to test both Absorption (ABS) and Transmission % (%T). The violet dye has a wavelength of 590nm. The photos taken follow setting wavelengths from 400nm to 590nm to 800nm and seeing how the Absorption and Transmission % change.
Used. Power Cable is NOT included. Lamp was swapped out with a brand new replacement Lamp. See attached photos.
