Tested and works correctly. Uses Dayton 1/3 HP motor with model 5K599B. Needs 2 White Alumina Ceramic plates because it is missing some. Missing one cheek plate and one jaw plate. All crusher bearings have been replaced (not motor bearings, but those work fine). Brand new bearings were installed because the old ones were bad. About this system, "Sepor Model 150 Mini Jaw Crusher 010A-011 laboratory sample crusher with alumina ceramic wear surfaces and Dayton 5K599B 1/3 HP motor. This compact single-toggle bench-top jaw crusher is designed for crushing small quantities of rock, ore, minerals, ceramics, refractories, glass, and other friable materials in geology, mining, assay, materials science, and sample prep lab applications. Per Sepor literature, the Model 150 has a 2" x 2" feed opening, accepts up to approximately 1" feed material, and can reduce material to about -1/8" at roughly 20 lb/hr depending on feed; product size is adjustable by the handwheel / adjusting screw with jaw spacing from about 1/16" to 1/4". This unit has been tested and works correctly; see video for demonstration of the crusher in operation. The crusher bearings have been replaced with brand new bearings because the originals were bad; motor bearings were not replaced, but the motor runs fine. Please note this crusher is incomplete and will need 2 white alumina ceramic wear plates before full intended ceramic-service use: 1 jaw plate and 1 cheek plate are missing. Sepor lists the wear systems on this platform as interchangeable, and the 010A-011 ceramic version originally used alumina jaw and cheek plates for reduced sample contamination versus ordinary steel wear surfaces. A stainless collection tray is used to catch crushed sample. Good candidate for restoration, parts completion, laboratory sample reduction, mineral prep, rock crushing, ore crushing, ceramic sample prep, or contamination-sensitive crushing work."
