About this cabinet:
The Thermo Scientific 1300 Series model 1387 is a 6 ft Class II, Type A2 biological safety cabinet designed for routine microbiology, cell culture, and other laboratory workflows that require personnel, product, and environmental protection in a full-width work area. Catalog number 1387 is the 120V package version with a 10 inch front opening, SmartCoat interior, factory-installed UV light, armrests, and a manual adjustable stand. The 1300 Series platform uses Thermo’s SmartFlow automatic airflow compensation and Digital Airflow Verification features, along with H14 HEPA filtration, to help maintain cabinet performance as filters load over time. For the 6 ft 10 inch-opening models, Thermo lists exterior dimensions of approximately 74.8 in W x 31.5 in D x 61.8 in H, a 10 inch working sash opening, and a cabinet weight of about 617 lb before the stand.
