The system comes with both the Ultracentrifuge and the S120 Rotor (type S120-AT2).
All functions appear to work as intended. We tested that this centrifuge spins up to 120,000 RPM, it refrigerated down to 0°C, timer works, setting the speed works, changing the rotor works, touchscreen works, vacuum system works, wheels roll and stoppers lift, and more.
Has some cosmetic imperfections as it has been previously used and has been transported. Some scratches and dings are present in the exterior of the ultracentrifuge. There is a scratch in the bowl of the ultracentrifuge as shown in the photos. There is also a very small scratch on the rotor itself, also shown in the photos, but it has been tested and balances fine in this ultracentrifuge up to the specified speed of 120,000 RPM (as demonstrated in the video above).
This ultracentrifuge is very small for an ultra: its outer measurements are about 18" wide, 21" deep, and 36" tall. Due to the nature of this piece of equipment, it must be shipped via freight shipping. Buyer is responsible for freight shipping costs. It is also highly recommended that the buyer hire someone to professionally install this ultracentrifuge at their facility and perform installation and maintenance procedures. This ultracentrifuge was built in 2017 and last serviced in 2019. We do not install or do maintenance on ultracentrifuges. As with all centrifuges, it must be treated with the utmost safety and all handling must be done as specified in Thermo Scientific's manual and supporting documents. We are not responsible for any damages that may be caused by this instrument as it is sold as "used" on an "as-is" basis. Use are your own risk.
