TESTED to E-8 Torr: Varian TV301 NAV Turbo Vacuum Pump 9698918 and Power Supply

Lab Liquidators LLC is selling a tested 8.5E-8 Torr Varian TV301 NAV 4000MS Turbo Vacuum Pump and Power Supply UHV Ultra High Vacuum system. This unit is tested working and pulled down to 8.5×10^⁻8 Torr in our setup (with no bakeout) as shown in the photos using an ion gauge. It can perform even better if baked out. Flange size is ISO 100 ISO-K 100.

We pumped it down on our turbo test station, and it worked well as expected. The unit is in good cosmetic shape and is fully operational. See photos.

Does not include the ion gauge, other flanges, or bellows or roughing pump in this purchase. If you need those, we can sell them to you separately.

Varian TV301 NAV (P/N 9698918) is a Macrotorr turbomolecular pumping system meant to take you from a solid pre-rough into HV/UHV for clean chambers; common applications include XPS/AES, UHV deposition and sputter tools, SEM/FIB adjunct chambers, RGA and leak-test stations, beamline and research vacuum manifolds, and any setup where you want high compression with low oil uptake. This unit is the ISO-K 100 inlet variant and includes a dedicated power supply/controller; factory-rated pumping speed on ISO 100 is 250 L/s (N₂), 220 L/s (He), 200 L/s (H₂) with compression ratios N₂ > 2×10⁸, He 1×10⁵, H₂ 2×10⁴; it spins to 56,000 rpm with <3 min run-up, uses permanently lubricated ceramic bearings, and works in any mounting orientation. Foreline connection is KF16 NW; cooling is natural convection, noise is ≤45 dB(A) at 1 m, and bakeout limits are 80°C max at the ISO inlet flange. The controller is a microprocessor-driven frequency converter; mains versions take 100-240 Vac, 50-60 Hz with 300 VA max input and 150 W max operating power; plus serial control and PWM speed-set capability if you’re integrating into a bigger system. We bench-tested this pump on our turbo station and it pulled down to 8.5×10⁻8 Torr on our ion gauge setup (see photos); what you get is a known-good turbo+controller combo.
