Varian / Agilent Saturn-series GC/MS ion trap analyzer assembly removed from an older Varian mass spectrometer. Assembly is mounted on an approx. 4.5" ConFlat / DN63CF-style UHV flange and includes the ion trap electrode stack, analyzer flange/feedthrough base, trap oven/body hardware, transfer-line entrance/cutout area, and related internal contacts/feedthrough components shown. Varian Saturn manuals describe this ion trap assembly as using filament and exit endcap electrodes with an RF ring electrode, quartz/silica spacers, electron gate, filament connections, axial modulation connections, electron multiplier HV/signal feedthroughs, and transfer-line access into the ion trap cavity. This unit is used surplus and has not been tested, cleaned, leak-checked, or verified for filament/electron multiplier/feedthrough continuity. Some wear, residue, discoloration, scratches, and handling marks are present.
